So. Fucking So. Agh. I was just reflecting on how depressing some work colleagues are being.

For this week's Con-related postings I will say something that is not controversial: It was a pleasure knowing Roadkill; and an honor to stand behind "his bar," that is, the Omegacon consuite bar in which he had so much hand.

And I will make no idea-playing notes in this post except this: we're doing something cool as a memorial at Con this year guys, right? right? I'm sure I'm not alone in being willing to volunteer.

O em gee, it kinda does! What the fuck? Well, this window is not teeny type, but it's light gray on white. wha wha wha???

Is that why I never get comments? I just thought it was cuz I wasn't interesting. I picked this look cuz it looks nice to me in terms of layout and color scheme. I didn't think it had any impact on the form fields. Damn. Stupid LJ style(s) system, I do not understand you. Seriously. I don't understand the fucking style system. (no faq links everybody, they don't really do it for me)

Okay, I dug about in the FAQ and the menus. There's only a few options to customize the entry-box text color that I could find.

1) Choose a different pre-formatted style from the gazillion styles LJ offers. (From the home menu choose Manage > Customize)

2) Select a style (appears to only be the S1 styles, not the flashier S2 styles) that allows custom color selection, and edit the colors through the Manage > Customize menu. I think you're using an S1 style, right?

2) Edit the style sheet code to set your own color (gwoss).

So, them's the breaks.

I already did the pick a different style route: this one! :-p
I went to S2 a while ago, i'm pretty sure (to get the tags, and such)
Yeah,I think I'll have to work on the style sheet in order to keep this one if I like it so much. That or ...what if we all bitched to the style's designer... hm
