random dream-interp entry

All right you fuckers, which genius out there am i ignoring? had this quite intense dream this morning of a star, with 3 stars behind it. the main one was growing brighter and brighter, then it dimmed. Then storm clouds came in front of it, but they started to dissipate and it grew bright again. The brightness was almost overwhelming and I shielded my eye with my right hand, inverted. The moment I thought it might be a nova or quasar or other scientifically-explicable phenomenon I awoke suddenly.

Let's see... Last thing I read before bed was emails around an evolution-creation debate I had with another person. (I tend to favor a combination- God made the world and uses evolution to continue the creation- an approach I think is agreed to by a large number of mainline Christians, including some scientist friends who are Christian) This other person of course fosters a fierce and public assault on evolution as hokum. (hokum?!) Possible interpretation is- a concern that I respect his fervor but I'm not being totally straightforward in the debate methods I'm using (Jon. Not straight. Big surprise.) and therefore he actually comes out as the better person. There's a high ideal (stars), that creation and evolution can live side by side if people just get over themselves. There's my essential rightness (hand) but wrongness of method (inverted) and the fact that my decision making process in getting into the debate in the first place was not clear-headed (clouds). The brightness is all the intellects at play (including my own, but also the intelligent person I'm debating with and God). Or any number of other interpretations. Like it's one of you folks, my friends who I'm obscuring somehow. Good morning world...
