I know, I know. I know it's untoward of me, and it's not particularly ... evolved to hold such positions, but you gotta understand, I really believe the election of Michele Bachmann is a sea change event of sheer, unvarnished madness. Like the entire 6th district decided to commit something like political sati. It's monstrous! Can't anyone up there read? The woman did nothing in the state senate. During the campaign, she has disguised well her inane obsessions with banning gay marriage at any cost and kept to a minimum any public references to her spacey Condoleezian devotion to the worst president ever. She will doom the Minnesota delegation to the status of laughingstock, we'll be thought of as the state of idiocy, degeneracy, imbecility and worse. Terrible things will happen to our reputation as long as she serves. Woe to you St. Cloud and Stillwater! Woe to you Blaine and Lino Lakes! You'll live to rue this day when you see what that woman does to you!

Oh, and I get this flaming rage every time I see Wisconsin's Jim Sensenbrenner on screen, just a bloody-eyed confusion and apoplexy.

As I go to bed, the Secretary of State's site says 76% of precincts and lists the governor's race stats thus:
TIM PAWLENTY AND CAROL MOLNAU 808035 46.76
MIKE HATCH AND JUDI DUTCHER 785684 45.46
PETER HUTCHINSON AND MAUREEN REED 115032 6.66

So, that's pretty brutal
Herseth wins South Dakota and the abortion ban goes down there in my home state.

Go Montana! Go Missouri! Go Virginia!

Go to bed!
