We were just into the 2nd commercial break when it said "now back to the thrilling 90 minute season finale of Smallville!" Except we'd programmed to tape the usual 60 minutes! Both mrs_lovett and I looked at each other, swore violently, and turned off the tv instantly. What's the point, right?

Can anyone help? Anybody tape that and can loan or copy for me? Dammit. (First house, then cable, then tivo, baby, tivo)

I didn't see the episode, but allow me to summarize:

a) Lana pouts.
b) Someone discusses how all have this secret side that no one sees.
c) Lex is totally coming on to Clark, but no one seems to notice.
d) Clark pouts, staring off into the distance.
e) A crane shot pulls away, while This Week's Hot Single plays in the background.
f) Pa Kent once again resists the urge to get in his car by sliding across the roof or jumping in through the window.

I've only just come across this post, and I can oblige if you haven't all ready found a copy. I bought one from a student for 25 points...since our copy is missing the first (ESSENTIAL) eight minutes of the tape as some (DAMN-THEM-ALL-EVERY-LAST-ONE-OF-THE-144,000-TO-HELL) Jehovah's Witnesses came to the door and my best friend/beloved colleague got involved in a conversation and didn't notice when 8:00 slipped haplessly past him! Alak-we indulge in a bit too much wacky grass.

In any case, it's a long wait until October...but at least there's a fifth season!
