With that being said, you are a Democrat. You are saying, 'Let's cut and run.' And I have to tell you, I have been nervous about this interview with you, because what I feel like saying is, 'Sir, prove to me that you are not working with our enemies.' And I know you're not. I'm not accusing you of being an enemy, but that's the way I feel, and I think a lot of Americans will feel that way."

you still believe the media has a liberal bias? I feel sad for you.

Seriously, how can you call yourself a journalist and ask a question like that?

Any record of what Ellison said in response? If he managed to give a decent answer that included "well, that was, in fact, extremely offensive," I'd be pleased.

Glenn Beck doesn't consider himself to be a journalist. He is a biased political commentator, and makes no bones about it.

Glenn Beck makes no bones about being a complete conservative god-loving criticist. He has a radio show that displays a lot more of his personality and thoughts, and honestly he makes it well-known that he isn't trying to take an unbiased viewpoint.

It's the Fox News idea: Fair and Balanced means that there needs to be a right/conservative outlet to balance the liberal/left media.

Also remember that we live in a hugely liberal area of the country. It's easy to be a liberal here, not so easy in other places (like Des Moines) where having political discussions can get you lynched if you don't agree.
