I am a current member--I can't find my ID number right now, but I am one! I contributed because now I feel I can, and I've been a listener for many years when I Could Not, and now I've come to depend on the programming on weekends on 91.1. The Current is a round-the-clock Revelation!

The challenge in the letter I got said "you gave x last year, give y if you can" and I can! I also wanted to say something supportive about the concept of sustaining members.

I'm an Augsburg grad and I Especially Like knowing that The Current is a STICK IN THE EYE to those snooty, whiny StOlaf folks. Boo hoo, you lost your classical. Boo hoo. Nobody but nobody was playing MY music on the radio until the Current came along. Take THAT stolaf. Yes, this contribution is out of spite too!
