as evidenced by seeing this meme on others' ljs I think the meme writer is being sarcastic or has very questionable literary tastes. every book I've seen on variations of this meme has been good. I think it's accurate in the sense that in my most delusional moments of self-confidence, I see myself as a living Pynchon novel, based on the portions of Lot49 that I've read (yet to finish it). But otherwise the meme is somewhat fraudulent... I mean, he thinks The Hobbit and Heart of Darkness are bad.
