burnunitI think I figured out a way to get back at a dirty 419 scammer. Suppose they email me looking to help me with "Richard Olsen" death in Africa? Suppose I email them back saying, "I DO have an uncle Richard, who was last known to be in Africa. We lost track of him, but if you have his papers, they will be far more valuable to our family's corporation, even moreso than his financial holdings." Well, "DAN AMINU" got back to me, amazed that I don't care about the money, but if I am more interested in his papers, "DAN AMINU" seems to remember some kind of papers in his care. Well, I've decided to write him back.

Please do not misunderstand me. Our uncle, Richard Olsen's financial holdings are of interest to me and my family. But of far greater concern to us is any work he may have done or work product in his possession which directly relates to certain scientific and/or systematic processes developed by him. Our family's business is deeply invested in the work of energy transfer and relies on technology to advance our research.
Our Richard Olsen was last known to be at work on a new variety of high-tension stepdown transformer which could increase energy extrication and transfer efficiencies tenfold. This quantum leap forward in the field would position our family company at the forefront of the industry. If you can provide documentation of your possession of these documents, we can release to you a significant reward for their safekeeping and recovery.
If your Richard Olsen is my uncle Richard, we can authorize the transfer to you of twenty percent of the value of these new developments, or three hundred fifty thousand dollars (US $350,000). Additionally, we could pay your attorney's fees for representing Mr. Olsen, and further retainer for legal contacts within your region, as uncle Richard's work connected with a great number of areas with which we are wholly unfamiliar.
If you can provide documentation that you have Richard Olsen's power of attorney, along with some indication of the contents of his papers, I believe our corporation will richly reward you, and of course, I'd be glad to serve as proof of next-of-kin in your pending case. It need not be copies of the documents, as their contents are confidential and as his attorney, I don't expect you to release them at this time, even to us. But signed affidavits, with some witnesses, along with document verification fees, should enable us to move forward.
