no one ever pays attention to me

Got this from the Nader campaign last night:

Dear Writer:

Thank you for contacting the Nader/Camejo campaign during this election. We have received so much correspondence that we try to respond to as much as we can personally, and regret if we were unable to respond individually to you.

We hope that you have been able to visit our website frequently during this campaign to learn about the issues and solutions we stand for and why it has been necessary for Ralph and Peter to run to advance the progressive agenda for justice during this election.

We have seen firsthand how our election system badly needs so many reforms -- from how people register to vote to how candidates get on the ballot to how the votes are counted and to how they count nationwide.

Of course, we would appreciate your support and hope you chose -- after all you have heard this election cycle and read on our site -- to cast your vote for Nader/Camejo, even if you had to write us in.

As Ralph says, we “should never place the struggle for justice on vacation.”

Sincerely,

The Team at Nader/Camejo 2004

DUDE! The email they're responding to is here. That's right, I wrote in fricking MARCH and Team Nader gets back to me after the election with a thank you note. DUDE! I asked you not to run! And the letter I sent was deeply paranoid. Not that it mattered (it ALMOST mattered in Wisconsin where the Kerry margin of victory was .4%, and Nader pulled .55%.

do your research on Nader before putting him down. he was unquestionably the best candidate.

uh, sure, I'll get right on that

I did my research 8 years ago, when I first voted for Ralph and again when I worked to get him on the ballot in SD for the 2000 election. Times changed, and despite my research, Ralph wasn't the best candidate in this year's election.
