Hi world, just coming up for air for a sec. i've been working on my MA thesis all month and haven't been thinking about LJ much. Sry. I can has break?

Actually, no.

So I sent a few notes to Paul Soukup at the Media Ecology Association about their upcoming convention on "Communication, Technology and the Sacred" describing my thesis and this theory I have about the Scofield Reference Bible (you'll see soon enough, cuz I'm sure you're all on tenter hooks about THAT). Well, I got this email

Hi Jon:

Dr. Soukup sent your abstract on to me. We will include it in the program. In other words, we accept it!

Any questions, let me know.

Ack! Holy crap! Now I have to finish it and come up with traveling money to Santa Clara in June for the Ninth Annual Convention of the Media Ecology Association !

I are a akademic now. What do I do??
