knew I'd come up with a cool one if I just thought about it

Hillbilly flash mob on the LRT. One family of outrageously stereotypical hillbillies boards LRT at 5th&Henn downtown. More board at stops coming out of downtown (gov't center, metrodome) . A different hillbilly family boards at Cedar/Riv or whatever. Then the first hillbillies start gettin' all agitated, mutterin', lookin' back at th' interlopers, etc. Just before lake st. or maybe 38th, a leader of the first family of hillbillies says real loud "Ah thought we tole ye Carsons t'stay off this here train!"
The Carson clan leader says "Ye dang Stubbses cain't tell us where to go!"
"Why Ah'll show ye! Git im!"

Hillbilly feud breaks out upon arrival at the 38th st station, where a bunch more hillbillies await. The shouting, gesturing and general feudin' spill out of the train onto the platform. Train continues on.

Might need some tweaks and logistical considerations. But the core idea is sound. Hillbilly feud flashmob.

Might could even play out a kinda romeo & juliet story if'n ye had a mind to.

Sort of like performance art, flash mob style.

I initially read that as "Hillary [Clinton] flash mob." That could work as well -- get a whole bunch of people wearing Hillary masks (or perhaps better yet -- women realistically dressed up like Hillary, so any one of them alone is unremarkable but as they slowly fill the train it gets creepier and creepier).

I think the subtlety of the dressup version would be terrific. Hillaries from each of her eras fashion-wise? The pink suits the hair. Some men in drag? Sweeeeet.

As the decendent of Appalachians (apple-a-chins) I sort-of feel I should get offended - but I'm not.
