In class today? with a bunch of Nice up-talking Lutherans? I called these guys fascists, pronounced their fundamentalist theology unbiblical and declared, "It has to end! They're the moneychangers. The Pharisees! And it has to end!" Then I compared the church growth movement to cancer.

Nothing like urging the world to adopt the complicationist life and making our intellectual conversations more complex, and then getting all ad hominem up in there.

But, that be the way a OL theologian do his bidniz, yo!

Oh, and when someone else mentioned the Taliban, I said "Yes! Yes, they're the American Taliban!" I'm ALL about the elevated discourse today, baby.
