i recently read the book of the dead and thought it was cool how it talked about avoiding the soft light of the lower realms that will seem attractive to you and focus on the radiant clear light instead and how there were all of these chances over and over that a person had to merge with things that they called 'the pure realm of space' or the 'eastern realm of complete joy' and all these awesome devas and whatnot were totally there to help you out. what you wrote reminded me of that. like the idea of dying and there's beings there just for you. like the individual gets to meet god? that's just cool.
i always thought of dreams as being the most personal thing that people experience. but i think that death is probably more so.
