lose the habit, man

Perhaps getting off oil could be easier? Otherpower is awesome! They have info on solar and homebrewed wind generation. I almost wonder if this could be scaled up and then employed in small clusters of urban homes.

Wow. I just burned an hour and a half on that site, and only scratched the surface.

yeah that's what I mean, they're frickin' awesome! I saw some of this stuff and honestly figured I knew people in MPLS who could pull this stuff off. I gotta learn how to weld n' shit.

I just wonder if the city would complain if I erected a 40-60 ft. windmill in my back yard.

oh, hey speaking of back yards, did you decide to buy your cement mixer or what?

I haven't bought it yet, but I will be getting it, probably by the end of July or early August.

If you have to ask if the city would complain about something, the answer is yes. They always complain.

I really dug the assembly of that 14-foot windmill-- that's freakin' ingenious. And the whole rotor-stator assembly could be run by pretty much anything that spins. Harness your children!

Eleanor could probably power a city block.

I'm thinking exercise bike (I think they had a picture of one somewhere) and then just that to power ... whatever. Dishwasher, yeah! Wash my dishes and get healthy!
