This is pure intimidation built on lies. Some raids took in anything in the house that might be usable in making a molotov cocktail. They even seized paint from the garage. Like house paint. I have dozens of empty bottles in my house. I have a sack in my basement full of rags. I have a garage with gasoline for my mower. You gonna bust down my door? I don't have any plans to disrupt the GOP, but I suppose my house has the "tools of disobedience" in it.

They better not raid my house, I have to go to work this week.

I felt the same way, until the protesters tried to explain away the caltrops, and well, couldn't.

I'm of two minds on this. One one hand, the tactics used by the police seem heavy handed. On the other, I also believe that there are people here to disrupt the RNC by any means available. And blowing tires to prevent people from engaging in the convention pretty clearly crosses the nonviolence line.

Also, kicking in a door for a raid, then boarding up a house because it has a kicked in door is bullshit, no matter how you cut it.
