yeah I did it once, on the grill. it wasn't nearly as good--they used a brick oven I think.

I believe I used the recipe from The Artichoke Council (http://www.artichokes.org/recipes.html) (yes. really. there's a council.) I wasn't thrilled about it because I think I overboiled them.
