I don't know what is wrong with me
I've got something to confess
when it comes to right wing punditry
I have transgender interests
because...
ann coulter is a man, yes ann coulter is a man,
and I know that I can prove it with my fiendish master plan.*
that don't change a thing about her, that don't change a thing
she's still the hottest guy they've got in all of the right wing!
she's just the kind of boy that I could bring home to my mom
and she and dad could talk about what arabs they should bomb
when she's around I never worry bout messy things like facts
least of all that big ol' lump in the middle of her neck
(chorus)
close your eyes don't try to think a single little thought
shut your mouth it's time to do the duty that you ought
and if you ever wonder about silly foreign lands
just trust in her she'll guide you with those firm and bony hands
(chorus)
Oh God I miss McCarthy and J Edgar Hoover too
I'd just picked up the latest style of gray flannel suit
imagine my delighted gasp when he tumbled on the scene
gorgeous hair! spooky eyes! and lord is that gal mean!
(chorus)
(repeat)
(outro)
likely chords - verse G/D, maybe work the old reliable GDC in there
chorus DGD DA DGDAD
* [alt. fiendish commie plan, pinko plan, etc]
Tonight I'll go hammer out those progression on the guitar, work out which way to take the verses (go up on all or up on intro, down on others, etc). I could even sketch in some harmonies. I can hear a banjo part really clearly except I don't know for shit how to play one. Bah, no self respecting banjo player would enjoy getting tangled up in that higgeldey-piggeldey I call a strumming style anyways.
unfortunately, during this period when i'm drafting, these lyrics are copyright Jon Olsen, 2005. all rights reserved. after song is complete, I'll release a creative commons/free music version. until then, you can't make a dime off them, thank you!

You need to lay down a rough track of the lyrics; I'm having a hard time guessing the cadence.
